To celebrate Christmas 2016 amd the end of the year of our 80th anniversary, we created a Specialty Christmas Blend, composed by:
Ethiopia Natural Guji – Natural- Varietal Typica
Honduras El Predegal– Washed– Varietal Catuai
Costa Rica Miele – Fully Washed– Varietal Caturra & Catuai
Cup profile: intense flavour of tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), spices (cinnamon) and roasted pine nuts. Mild acidity and sweetness soft and round.
The blend is avaiable in limited edition only to Christmas.
All three coffees are selected by micro plantations, and are also available in single origin in Borea Specialty Coffee line, also after Christmas
The coffees are roasted separately with a roaster “Vittoria” of 10 kg, following the Roasting protocol of SCAE, with a slightly lighter roast than traditional Italian espresso, and consumption must be at most two or three months from roasting.
