Fabrizio Giorgini wins the preliminary race of Espresso Italiano Champion 2017 at La Genovese, Albenga (SV), the Italian barista Championship organised by Espresso National Institute (INEI)

Fabrizio comes from Loano, since 1996 has been the owner of the Bar Ancona in Loano, a bar Certified Inei . He is a coffee enthusiast and is constantly training with courses. Tasteer IIAC, Espresso Italiano Specialist, also attended the Barista and Latte Art courses of SCA.
“This year I was a lot quieter, I practiced a lot, because what I did in the race I do it every day in my bar,” says Fabrizio, very pleased with his performance.

Now he accessed to the italian semi-finals of the championship to be held in Milan at the Mumac Academy on June 30. The international final will be held in Milan at Host Exibition, on 22 October 2017

Espresso Italiano Champion is not an easy race: competitors must find the right grind of coffee and prepare four espresso and four cappuccino, all in 11 minutes and under the eyes of the technical judges and the control of a group of tasters of the International Institute Coffee tasters (IIAC) operating blindly.
