Juta, our new UTZ certified organic coffeeJuta, our new UTZ certified organic coffee has finally arrived.

Juta is the result of over a year of work, made of research, selection, tests. But at the end we are proud of it: we made a good coffee!

Good because Juta is a skillful selection and combination of the best origins, 100% Arabica from organic farming.

Juta is the result of an accurate roasting process that ensures a roasting uniformity of the beans and the maintenance of the aromas of the coffee. It is a sweet and elegant coffee, with a velvety cream and persistent aromas, with aromas of flowers and fresh fruit that leave space for vanilla and jasmine.

Good because with UTZ certification we want to make our contribution and our commitment to responsible and sustainable agricultural production, respecting people and the planet. With a supply chain that respects growers, workers and their families, helping them to meet their ambitions and to contribute to safeguarding the world’s resources.

Good is also the meaning of the word UTZ in the “Quiché” maya language. “Utz Kapeh”, good coffee, was the original name of the worldwide certification program that sets the standards for a responsible agricultural production and coffee supply. Today, one third of sustainable coffee is UTZ certified.

Why Juta?

Because juta is synonymous with green coffee.
Jute is a natural textile fiber that is extremely versatile, recyclable and 100% biodegradable. All characteristics that we believe must contain in itself a truly “modern” and responsible product.

Our Juta coffee wants to be synonymous with environmental sustainability and help the development of local communities. We believe that La Genovese must also take care of its stakeholders: customers, suppliers, collaborators, the communities in which it operates, the environment, respect for the principles of sustainability in the entire coffee chain.

Find our UTZ certified coffee in different formats: 1 kg bag in grains, pack of 250 grams ground mocha and in pods. In addition to Juta, also the organic Guatemala specialty beans are certified organic and Utz.
